CITB Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Training

CITB-Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Scheme - Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) was devised to assist site managers to develop knowledge, awareness and understanding of their legal, moral and social responsibilities for the health, safety and welfare on construction sites.

CMT 03 - SMSTS - The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is appropriate for Project Manager's, Site Manager's and Supervisor's as well as Proprietors of smaller companies. We are also seeing an increasing number of client-based personnel benefiting from the course. SMSTS certificate holders will need to renew their certificate every five years by way of the refresher course. For CITB levy paying companies a grant of 265 is payable from the CITB on successful completion of the course.
CMT 40 - SMSTS Refresher - The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher course is designed for those who currently hold the site Management Safety Training Scheme Certificate and now wish to update their skills and knowledge in line with current legislation and require to renew their CITB 5 day Site Management Safety Training Scheme Certificate. For CITB levy paying companies a grant of 160 is payable from the CITB on successful completion of the course.
CMT 86 - Health and Safety Awareness - The CITB Health and Safety Awareness course is for those who have or are about to enter the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site.
CMT 87 - SSSTS - The CITB Site Supervisor's Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course is for first line managers, those who have or are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities. For CITB levy paying companies a grant of 160 is payable from the CITB on successful completion of the course.
